China International Travel Mart (CITM) 2009 was held in Kunming from November 19 to November 22, 2009. Tanzania Tourist Board and Zanzibar Commission for Tourism participated in the Asia's largest international travel fair as an exhibitor, and this is the second time Zanzibar Commission for Tourism attended CITM with the support of China Business Network (CBN). Mr. Maabad J. Muhiddin, Senior Marketing officer and Mr. Said Abdul Rahman, Senior Planning Officer from Zanzibar Commission for Tourism were asked to give an interview to a media with the support of the CBN staff at the attractive Zanzibar booth. During the CITM 2009, Mr. Maabad J. Muhiddin, Senior Marketing officer and Mr. Said Abdul Rahman, Senior Planning Officer from Zanzibar Commission for Tourism presented its varied tourism resources to Chinese visitors by showing the tourism video and the pretty Chinese brochures including fun and adventure, religion and faith, ecology and nature, history and culture, leisure and health, they also introduced their various spices to the visitors.
After CITM 2009, the Zanzibar delegates transferred to Guangzhou for their Tourism Reception to promote Tanzania and Zanzibar tourism resources and products to the Chinese tour operators and welcome more Chinese visitors to the diving paradise.
