In August, China Southern Airlines plans to launch two new international direct routes from Guangzhou.
A direct charter flight from Guangzhou to Surat Thani in Thailand will take off at 20:30 Beijing time every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, and will arrive at Surat Thani at 23:40. The return flight will depart every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday departing at 00:40 and arriving at 04:00.
A flight from Guangzhou to Langkawi in Malaysia is scheduled to leave each Monday and Thursday at 23:10 and arrive at Langkawi at 03:00. The flight will return to Guangzhou each Tuesday and Thursday departing 04:00 and arriving at 07:40.
Surat Thani and Langkawi are both among Southeast Asia's top tourist attractions. China Southern has opened or reopened several tourist routes this summer including Guangzhou to Cebu in the Philippines and Guangzhou to Saipan in the North Pacific.
