The Danish Embassy and Consulates have made the visa application process easier. Under normal circumstances The Danish Embassy issues visas within five working days.
The Danish Embassy and Consulates no longer require an original invitation letter when handing in the visa application. It is now sufficient that the Danish company sends a PDF scan of the original, signed invitation by e-mail to the visa section and that the applicant submits a copy of this with the application. The Danish Embassy and Consulates hope this will make the visa application easier. The Danish Embassy and Consulates have also introduced a “document checklist”. This provides the applicant with a guide on how to apply and which documents to submit to the application.
Win a trip to Denmark
Each year more than ten thousand Chinese citizens travel to Denmark on business or to visit friends and family. In order to let more Chinese people know more about Denmark, the Danish Embassy has launched a contest (1 April to 1 May) where two people can win a free trip to Denmark.
