Turkey attracts more Chinese tourists

About 68,000 Chinese tourists visited Turkey in 2007, up 21.2 percent from the previous year, the Turkish Anatolia News Agency reported on Sunday.

The increase in Chinese tourist arrivals in Turkey was attributed to the promotion efforts in China made by the Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry in recent years.

A total of 23.34 million foreign tourists visited Turkey in 2007.
