Peru ranked first in the “Exotic” category, according to survey at world level
After surveying 1,500 frequent travelers at world level, Peru is ranked first in the “Exotic” category, that is to say, for offering “tours that are less traditional and more unusual” according to a survey done by FutureBrand, a company that belongs to the McCann-Erickson World Group and is headquartered in New York. It has 22 branches in 17 countries. FutureBrands verified the results with 35 experts in the international tourism industry. Peru is also ranked ninth in the “Genuineness” category, the category which looks at distinctiveness, genuineness, and uniqueness of cultures a country has to offer, and it was surpassed only by India, New Zealand, Egypt, South Africa, Thailand, Costa Rica, Lebanon, and Italy.
