China National Tourism Administration declared on August 25th that China and Venezuela had signed the memorandum of understanding which officially approved Venezuela as the destination of outbound travel for Chinese citizens.

Some tour operators expressed on the issue that at the initial time it would cost tourists about RMB20.000 to travel in Venezuela which was more expensive compared to other destinations. So it is likely to package Venezuela with other tourism destinations to recommend to customers.

Venezuela lies at the northern extreme of South America, bordered by Colombia to the West, Brazil to the South, Guyana to the East, and the Caribbean Sea to the North. There are fine stretches of the Andes, huge areas of Amazonian rain forests, and fertile plains known as llanos, miles of Caribbean shoreline, and even a small desert. The nation also has a few geographical superlatives, including the world's highest waterfall and South America's biggest lake. The average temperature is about 27℃, but cooler temperatures prevail at higher elevations.

Population doesn' t well distribute in the country. Urban people take 80% of the whole population with more than 3 million in the capital city Caracas. There are different ethnic groups living in Venezuela with 58% Indo-European people, 29% white people, 11% black people and 2% Indians.

The first inhabitants of Venezuela were the Indians. They were divided into different groups according to their languages and customs. Scattered in many parts of  Venezuela, they were  quite different from other Venezuela people in many aspects such as life style and  manufacture.　

Venezuela is a country that crazily admires beauty. The annual Miss Venezuela beauty pageant held in early September is the most important thing in this country.
