CITIE2018 successfully launched in Guangzhou
The China (Guangdong) International Tourism Industry Expo (CITIE) was successfully closed in Guangzhou on last Sunday. The three-day trade show, held from 7 – 9 September, focusing on both B2B and B2C market to attract worldwide high-quality tourism destinations, service providers and suppliers, which is a professional platform sharing information, purchasing products and business development for exhibitors and buyers.

World Travel Online, one of the official media partners of CITIE, brought lots of popular travel agencies and destinations to Chinese tour operators and tourists: CBN Travel & MICE of the UK, Exclusive Spain Tours and Valladolid of Spain, Aspen Snowmass and Bloomington of the US were recommended at the booth.
In addition, World Travel Online also introduced destination management companies from new emerging destinations, such as Grand Holiday Ethiopia Tours from Ethiopia, Pan Ukraine Tour Operators from Ukraine, Dolores Travel Services from Uzbekistan, as well as destinations including Mali in West Africa, Longreach Region in Australia, Jamaica in the Caribbean, LATAM Airlines in Chile, Slovenia and Latvia in Europe.

This year, the trade show boasted over 3,000 international exhibitors from more than 600 destinations and travel agencies at home and overseas.
