INPROTUR), returns to IT&CM China 2018 for their 2nd consecutive year.
Emora Franco, Coordinate of Tourism MICE of INPROTUR shared that Buenos Aires was an ideal destination in South America for MICE tourism with 3 exhibition centers and over 500 venues. “Regarding of natural and cultural tourism, Argentina has unique advantages. And for Chinese MICE travelers, they will happy to hear the good news about convenient visa policy and flight options.” She added.
In fact, Chinese tourists, who have already owned a valid tourism visa for the United States or the European Union (EU), will no longer need a separate tourist visa for Argentina. Instead, Chinese travellers will apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization, a document which is easier to obtain than a visa.
In terms of flight options, Gladys Lo, President of Aerolineas Argentina China GSA, said: “Now direct flights have been launched from China to Mexico. Chinese visitors can take a transit at Mexico, and fly to Argentine, which is much more convenient for them.”
In 2017, Argentina received over 60,000 Chinese people, a 13 percent increase compared with 2016. Emora Franco said: “We want to have more increase in the Chinese market, and it has been our priority.”
