Peru Tourism Roadshow Brings New Cooperation Opportunities to Peruvian and Chinese Tourism Market
The elaborative Peru Tourism Roadshow was successfully held in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai in March.

Organized by Viajes Pacífico, planned and executed by CBN Travel and MICE and supported by World Travel Online, the elaborative Peru Tourism Roadshow was successfully held in Beijing on 14th March, followed by Guangzhou on 16th March and the last stop in Shanghai on 17th March, which attracted more than 300 Chinese outbound travel agency representatives and tour operators from the 3 cities.

Considered as the backbone of tourism marketing strategy, these roadshows provided an excellent opportunity for tour operators and hotels from Peru to enter the flourishing Chinese tourism market and promote their cooperation with outstanding Chinese outbound travel professionals and tour operators.

Mr. Casa Francevva, Minister counsellor of Embassy of Peru, Ms. Diana Pita, Economic and Commercial Counselor in Beijing, Mr. David Gamarra, Consulate General of Peru in Guangzhou, as well as Viajes Pacífico’s CEO Mr. Enrique Quiñones, Sales Director Mr. Eduardo Doig, Markets Development Manager Mr. Rafael Noriega, and Dr. Adam Wu, COO of China Business Network(CBN) etc. attended roadshow, introduced the rich tourism resources and some excellent incoming services providers to Chinese tour operators.

The B2B meetings after roadshow became great chances for Chinese participants and recommended incoming services providers and Hotels from Peru including Rainforest Expeditions, Aqua Expeditions, Aerodiana and AccorHotels to deeply know and cooperate with each other in the future.

As the world’s largest outbound tourist source country, a report form China Tourism Academy(CTA) shows that in 2016 the number of outbound tourism in China reached 122 million people, and Chinese visitors spent $109.8 billion (about 760 billion RMB) in overseas destinations. Definitely, welcoming more and more Chinese tourists will be the main target of all tourist destinations. As a country of history, culture, beauty and adventure, Peru attracts Chinese tourists with its different attractions such as ancient Inca City of Machu Picchu, magnificent Andes, amazing Amazon, the mysteries Nazca lines etc. what’s more, conditional visa free policy will push Peru in the front of online searching among outbound tourist destinations. Without the visa requirement, who else do not willing to travel to Peru?
