Niccolo Changsha Hosts First Anniversary Gala Dinner

CHANGSHA, China, Nov. 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The fourth luxury hotel in the Niccolo collection of Wharf Hotels, Niccolo Changsha - a landmark hotel in Central China – held its First Anniversary Gala Dinner on 29 October 2019. Nearly 300 guests attended the event, including consulate staff, government representatives, famous artists, national and local media, and senior management of hotel's partners.

Niccolo Changsha's Gala Dinner was a celebration of Changsha's art and culture. On 29 October, the hotel was decorated as an Art Palace, with a contemporary art exhibition at Arrival Lobby and 3 art masterpieces showcased at the Niccolo Ballroom Foyer.

The gala dinner kicked off with a stunning holographic light show. Mr Jorgen Christensen, General Manager of Niccolo Changsha, delivered a welcome speech. Dr Jennifer Cronin, President of Wharf Hotels, shared the essence of the Niccolo brand and its road to success. The first anniversary celebration ceremony was officially launched with all distinguished guests, followed by a piano performance by Ms Shen Shizhe, the first Steinway Artist in Hunan Province, an amazing Shadow Puppetry performance and an extraordinary magic show by Mr Daly Tang, two-time winner of the Merlin Award, an international magic award. Following the spectacular ceremony, guests were treated to an unforgettable dinner.

Since opening on 29 October 2018, Niccolo Changsha has been committed to developing a reputation for excellent service, promoting the Niccolo brand regionally, domestically and internationally. Within one year of opening, Niccolo Changsha achieved first place in the RevPAR Generation Index, and all segments have exceeded business projections.
