Jamaica Tourist Board has partnered up with Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association for a fam trip for travel tour operators from China to the Islands from January 26 to February 2.
Chinese Embassy kindly invited the Chinese tour operators for dinner at the Embassy on their first day of arrival.
These tour operators traveled in a group to experience Jamaica, which boasts a great number of tourism highlights, including Blue Mountain, Davon House, National Gallery, Bob Marley Museum in Kingston, Mystic Mountain and Dunn’s River Flass in Ocho Rios, as well as Greenwood Great House, taking Sunset sail in Montego Bay and Rick’s Café in Negril.

During the fam trip, the delegation had the opportunity to interact and swim with dolphins,
enjoying the thrill and love of these amazing lovable marine mammals.
This fam trip is held in order to increase the number of tourist from China. Apart from the itinerary to visit attractions and hotels, the Chinese delegation was invited to attend Caribbean Travel Marketplace and China – Caribbean Tourism Forum to enhance the bilateral exchanges with service providers in the Caribbean.

expressing the significance of Chinese-friendly promotion and service.
Minister of Tourism Edmund Bartlett said Jamaica was on the cusp of reaping the benefits of the Jamaica Tourist Board’s marketing pitch to the Chinese visitors. Jamaica is now trying to get Chinese market to be activated and the air connectivity is the premier factor to be considered.
