Air China has launched direct flights between Beijing and the Pakistani cities of Islamabad and Karachi.
This is the first direct service operated by domestic airlines between the Chinese capital and Pakistan.
There are three round-trip flights a week.
In recent years, flight demand between China and Pakistan has been growing.
Figures show the number of Chinese workers in Pakistan reached at least 8-thousand by the end of 2014.
In addition, Air China is set to launch direct flights from Beijing to Colombo, capital of Sri Lanka, on Tuesday.
