With its Closing Ceremony held in Beijing on Aug 30th, the 5-day Jamaica House 2015 Series were successfully closed. This important Series were attended by Jamaica Ambassadors to China H.E. Mr. Ralph Thomas, Director of Jamaica Tourist Board Mr. Paul Pennicook, as well as its Vise Director Mr. Jason K Hall, CEO of China Bussiness Network Dr. Adam Wu, etc. As the organizers of the event, Jamaica Tourist Board and Jamaican Embassy not only showed its wonderful tourism resources, but also shared its sports and cuisine culture with the visitors, which made them get a better understanding of this country.

 

 

 

“Since last year, travelers from China are allowed to enter Jamaica without visas. I believe this will attract more Chinsese to come here for their vocation. ” Mr. Jason K Hall said, “We welcome all of you come to our country !”

 

 

One of the climaxes in the Ceremony was the appearance of the Jamaican athletes. Their appearance attracted many flashing light's chases, and their fans were taking a group photo unceasingly with them and demanded signatures.

 

Jamaican athletes were higly praised for their performance in the IAAF World Championships Beijing 2015. Ranking 2rd in the table, Jamaica gets 12 medals in total, and all of the gold medals are from sprint events. 

 

 

Besides, there were lottery draws in every nights’ event. Air tickets, blue mountain coffee, rum and other Jamaican specialties were given to the lucky winners as the prizes.

 

This Jamaica House 2015 Series attracted over 600 visitors to come.
