Besides the Shanghai and Beijing flights, Air Mauritius operates two weekly flights to Hong Kong as well as three weekly flights from Shanghai and Beijing via Kuala Lumpur. The additional flights means Air Mauritius' capacity to China will reach 146,000 seats; up from 93,000 seats in 2013'.
China was the fastest growing travel market for Mauritius in 2013 where tourist numbers doubled, reaching 42,000.
