In the UK, the Chinese tourists wanted translation and reading material in Chinese, in the US, they wanted to know where the local Walmart store was, in Spain they asked for information about retail outlets for luxury brands, in France it was visit to vineyards, in Argentina they were interested in tango shows and in Australia they asked for rice/noodles, Chinese-style breakfast food.
These were the findings published recently by Hotels.com, an online hotel booking portal in its report, exclusively based on Chinese international tourists. The global survey done in April-May this year, covered more than 5,000 Hotels.com partners, said a release issued by the said portal.
