Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao attended the 40th anniversary of the establishment of China-Argentina diplomatic ties and stressed on the cooperation in civil aviation and tourism.

Argentina diplomatic ties with Argentine President Cristina Fernandez and delivered a speech in downtown Buenos Aires. The artists of the two countries presented excellent performances.
Wen said the two countries share profound traditional friendship. Both sides have seen frequent high-level exchange of visits, deepening political mutual trust, and fruitful cooperation in such sectors as economy, trade, tourism, education, science and technology since the establishment of diplomatic ties 40 years ago, especially since the launch of China-Argentina strategic partnership in 2004. The Chinese government has always viewed bilateral ties from a strategic height and long-term perspective and is ready to take the opportunity of the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations and work with Argentina to promote mutually beneficial and friendly cooperation for the benefit of both countries and their peoples.

particular stressed the two sides should to strengthen cooperation in civil aviation, for the development of bilateral relations to create a stable, friendly and convenient tourism environment.
