Beijing Tourism Ambassador Robert Wells, Chinese singer artist Ms Tan Jing and other VIP guests enjoyed the Beijing Tourism Reception Dinner before a unique performance at the world renowned Royal Albert Hall.
While the temperature in the UK plunges at the end of November however the atmosphere in the General Scott Room at the Royal Albert Hall can not be more contrastingly warm. The room was filled with guests coming to attend the Beijing tourism reception which really attracted stars, VIPs as well as senior tourism professionals.

The cocktail reception was hosted by Beijing Municipal Commission for Tourism Development ahead of the joint concert by Chinese singer artist Ms Tanjing and Swedish Pianist Robert Wells who was chosen as the Tourism Ambassador of Beijing. Robert spoke of his fondness of Beijing and the warmth of its people. "Beijing is the city I feel at home and it is the place I am eager to go back to again and again" he said. Chinese artist Tan Jing spoke of Beijing being the place where she studied music and where her professional career took off. So she confirmed "Beijing is my home now".

The Beijing tourism reception was filled with senior tourism officials and travel professionals with the President and CEO of World Travel and Tourism Council Mr. David Scowsill giving a warm welcoming speech to the delegation from Beijing and invited guests. He was followed by Shadow Minister Hon. Sharon Hodgson, MP who visited China not long ago thus, she shared her happy memories of Beijing, both the Great Wall of China also the new landmarks of Olympic Stadium and glittering conference venues such as new National Conference Centre.

The final speaker was Mr Gao Fu from Beijing Tourism Commission who thanked the guests for coming and then attracted guests attention with his gratitude of having studied tourism management with full scholarship from the UK and how he is applying his knowledge and experience in promoting Beijing as a destination for high end of visitors coming for business, incentive travel as well as to enjoy the new luxuries that Beijing has on offer.
Indeed, the video that Mr Gao shared with guests featuring Robert Wells going around Beijing confirmed Beijing being a much more sophisticated and continuously developing that warrant visitors coming back again and again.
