Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun Meets with Equatorial Guinea's New Ambassador to China.

On December 28, 2010, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun met in the Foreign Ministry with Equatorial Guinea's new ambassador to China. Zhai made positive comments on China-Equatorial Guinea relations, expressing China's willingness to work with Equatorial Guinea to push their traditional friendly ties to a higher level.

The Equatorial Guinean side noted since the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries 40 years ago, bilateral relations have been developing smoothly with fruitful cooperation in all areas. The Equatorial Guinean government attaches importance to developing ties with China, the new ambassador said, expressing his willingness to work with the Chinese side within his tenure to push bilateral ties to a new level.
