Vice Chairman of CNTA meets with Barbados Tourism Minister
Vice Chairman of China National Tourism Administration met with Hon. Richard Sealy, Barbados Tourism Minister in Beijing on July 15th. CNTA encourages more Chinese visitors to visit Barbados.


On July 15th, Minister or Tourism of Barbados Hon. Richard Sealy accompanied by President and CEO of Barbados Tourism Authority Mr. David Rice paid an official visit to China National Tourism Administration (CNTA). The visiting delegation met with Vice Chairman of CNTA together with Director General for Marketing and Promotion Mr. Liu Kezhi and Director of American-European Department Mr. Shan Gangxin. The two sides exchanged ideas on tourism cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting Chairman Zhu Shanzhong introduces the fast development of tourism in China and states that China would enhance the cooperation with Caribbean destinations and encourages more Chinese visitors to visit Barbados.  Chairman Zhu said CNTA welcomes Barbados to participate China International Travel Market (CITM) which will take place in November in Shanghai this year. 

Hon. Richard Sealy indicates that tourism is one of the most important industries in Barbados and he believes that China will further promote the development of tourism industry in Barbados by means of cooperation. Barbados will enhance its promotion in China and the newly established Embassy of Barbados will facilitate among other things issuing of visa etc. to Chinese visitors.
