Mandala Airlines, a low-cost airline based in Indonesia, will launch a three times-a-week direct flight service between Jakarta and Macau from July 21, 2010.

Ever since the closure of Viva Macau Airlines in late March 2010 there has been no direct aviation service between Macau and Jakarta.
Mandala Airlines is reported to believe that there is great market potential in Macau for rapid economic development.
