Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi said here Tuesday that China was ready to work with Kazakhstan to deepen bilateral cooperation in various fields such as transportation, economy and trade.
During the meeting with Kazakhstan's Secretary of State and Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev, Yang expressed China's willingness to enhance coordination and collaboration with Kazakhstan under the framework of the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Yang also spoke highly of the achievements made by the two countries in the development of bilateral ties.
They exchanged views on bilateral relations and issues of common concerns, and reached comprehensive consensus.

Saudabayev arrived in Beijing Monday evening for a three-day tour in China.
Saudabayev said Kazakhstan would maintain its efforts on furthering the strategic cooperation with China, and firmly support China's stance on Taiwan and Tibet-related issues.
Kazakhstan would work closely with China in combating the "three forces" that engage in terrorism, separatism and extremism, he said.
