Ambassador to Barbados Wei Qiang Attended the China-Caribbean Business Dialogue
In August, the China-Caribbean Business Dialogue co-hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the Barbados-Based Caribbean Export Developing Agency (Caribbean Export) was held at the Hilton Hotel, Barbados. Mr. Dong Songgen, Vice Chairman of CCPIT and Mr. Philip Williams, Executive Director of Caribbean Export chaired the meeting. H.E. Mr. Wei Qiang, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Barbados, other Embassy officials, Dr. the Hon. David C. Estwick, Minister of Economic Affairs, Empowerment, Innovation, Trade, Industry and Commerce of Barbados, Sir Lloyd Erskine Sandiford, Ambassador Designate of Barbados to the People's Republic of China, as well as many well-known figures of the economic, business, and financial circles in the Caribbean were present.
Agreement of cooperation between Caribbean Export Development Agency and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade was signed by the two sides.
