China has signed a memo of understanding with Madagascar and listed the country as a new approved travel destination for Chinese citizens.
At present, the detailed schedule for Chinese tour groups to go to Madagascar has not yet been fully confirmed. The tourism departments of the two countries are currently discussing the roll-out of services.
Liu Jin, deputy general manager of Comfort Travel Group Beijing Branch, says that they are planning to make a series of travel products combining trips to Madagascar, Mauritius and South Africa. The trip will take about 10 days and cost more than RMB20,000 for Chinese travelers.
