Omani Tourism Minister Dr. Rajiha Abdul Ameer Ali tried to sell tourism to Chinese tourists here last weekend before May Day holiday by describing the rich natural resources of the Persian Gulf nation.
At a press conference held in the Omani embassy in Beijing, the Omani minister expressed her warm welcome for Chinese tourists to visit Oman.
Oman signed the tourism memorandum with China last week. The two tourism administrations will reach consensus on detailed visa issues before group Chinese tourists can visit Oman.
Oman lies in the southeast part of Arabic peninsula, covering 3,000 kilometer coastline.
