Brief: Vice Chairman of CNTA Meets with Zambia Tourism Minister in China

On the morning of Feb. 25, Vice Chairman of CNTA Zhu Shanzhong respectively met with Zambia Tourism Minister Namugala and Chairman of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China Joerg Wuttke. 


When meeting with Namugala, Zhu Shanzhong first extended warm welcome to the visit of Namugala on behalf of the Chairman of CNTA Shao Qiwei. He said that the high-ranking officials of China and Zambia had conducted frequent mutual visit since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and their cooperation and communication had been expanded continuously; China and Zambia formally launched tourism cooperation after the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding in 2004; the tourism administrative authorities of both parties should enhance communication, reinforce publicity, deepen cooperation and expand bilateral visit so as to promote bilateral cooperation on tourism.

Namugala expressed that Zambia tourism industry was willing to enhance communication with Chinese tourism industry and deepen the understanding on Chinese tourism market; and also expected Chinese tourism industry to provide suggestions and support to Zambia on improving service infrastructure, tour guide training, and Sino-Zambia flight course. 
 

In addition, Zhu Shanzhong sincerely invited Zambian and the travelers of other European countries to visit Expo 2010 Shanghai China on behalf of CNTA, and it was expected that the tourism industry would avail itself of this opportunity to intensify the publicity on tourism.
