Brief: Transaero To Launch Direct Moscow-Beijing Route In June
Russian Transaero Airlines has announced that plans launch a direct air route from Moscow to Beijing starting from June 4, 2010.
Flights UN865/866 will be scheduled on Tuesdays and Fridays. Flights will leave Moscow's Domodedovo Airport at 11:10 Moscow time and arrive in Beijing Capital Airport at 22:10 local time; return flights will depart from Beijing at 0:40 local time and get back to Moscow at 04:20.
Transaero says that the flights will have Chinese-speakers on their cabin crew and meals will cater to both Chinese and Russian tastes.
Transaero first began to operate scheduled flights to China in 2005, and it carries the largest number of passengers on air routes between Russia and Hainan Island.
