Brief: Zambian President Rupiah Banda Visit China
Zambian President Rupiah Banda is paying a state visit in China from Feb. 24 to March 4 at the invitation of Chinese President Hu Jintao.
This is the first time that President Banda visit China after his inauguration in November, 2008. He indicate, ¡°Hoping this visit can consolidate and promote further the friendly relationship between China and Zambia which establish on the base of mutual benefit and South-South Cooperation¡±.
During his visit, the president will meet with President Hu Jintao, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Wu Bangguo and Premier of State Council Wen Jiabao respectively. Also, President Banda will pay a visit to Guangxi and Guangdong province later.
