GITF 2017: China outbound tourism still leads the pack
Chinese tourists spent about $261 billion on overseas travel in 2016, a 12% increase from 2015, making it the world’s leading outbound market, thus it is great to catch the opportunities to develop Chinese outbound travel market for both exhibitors and hosted buyers at the GITF 2017.

Guangzhou International Travel Fair 2017 (GITF 2017) successfully rounded off in Guangzhou during Feb 23 to 25. The three-day event attracted 980 exhibitors from 51 countries and regions with a total display area of 286,000 sqm. The international exhibitors accounted for 66% and the total hosted buyers exceeded 800.
 
China Business Network (CBN) with its awarded travel portal World Travel Online and CBN Travel & MICE were again invited to attend and also to support many foreign tourism authorities to promote its tourism resources and products.

Chinese travel trade and visitors who came to the pavilion of CBN with “a mini world” were satisfied with the recommended outbound destinations and famous attractions around the world, such as Bloomington, Jamaica, Kerala, Leon, Slovenia, Aspen Snowmass, The British Museum, The London Eye and The Roman Baths, etc., and airlines, such as LATAM Airlines, as well as the qualified incoming service providers, such as, HME Crafted Holidays in Africa, Island Routes Caribbean Adventures in Caribbean, Pars Tourist Agency in Iran and Travel Link in Morocco, etc.
